Bronze Egyptian Inspired Hieroglyphic Pendant

These handmade Egyptian inspired pendants are made from bronze metal clay and feature hieroglyphic symbols on an aged and weathered bronze slab to give the impression of a being part of an archaeological ruin. They are a perfect accompanying piece to match my hieroglyphic earrings.
Individually hand crafted by me using bronze metal clay - which, for those who don't know, is not actually clay but is made from very fine bronze particles and an organic binder to form a clay like medium.
After creating the slabs from the clay and adding the hieroglyphic imprint they are then carefully refined to give the effect of aged weathered stone then fired in a kiln for a few hours to turn the 'clay' into solid metal. It's like being an alchemist! They are then hand polished to a stone like matt finish and turned into pendants.
Each metal clay piece also features my makers mark on the back.
As these are all made to order and hand produced each one is unique and will have slight variations in size, shape, and different symbols from the piece shown. Approximate size is 30mm x 20mm.
The pendant comes on a 20 inch black cotton cord, but for an additional charge can be supplied on a sterling silver fine trace chain or gold vermeil rolo chain instead.
Presented in a pretty organza bag with a jewellery care card, ready for gifting, or can be supplied in an eco friendly black card giftbox if preferred.
